Adobe Photoshop CS5 PROS
- Content-Aware Fill is real
- Commanding digital painting options
- Granular memory reins
Adobe Photoshop CS5 CONS
- Very high-priced
- No UI upgrades from CS4
The question for some users is going to be whether or not PhotoshopCS5 is worth the upgrade over its predecessors. While I had some smallreservations in recommending First performance Pro CS5 over CS4, Photoshop CS5 is aslam dunk. I reckon that’s due in no small part to Content-Aware Fill, which for many users may very well wind up being Photoshop CS5′s killer app. It’s a touch new we’ve never seen previous to and it works better than it has any right to. Adobe’s promotional video for it may be a series of best case scenarios, but the reality isn’t far off at all, and I’m still not sure just so how they were able to make it work as well as it does. Significant improvements to digital painting functionality make Photoshop CS5 an simple sell for illustrators as well.
Underside line, if you make heavy use of Photoshop, primarily well, you needPhotoshop CS5.
